We are searching for skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our client’s team
in London(part-time and permanent basis). In this role, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring
the optimal performance and safety of a wide range of vehicles. Your work will
encompass everything from routine maintenance to diagnostics and repairs,
playing a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, including oil changes, tyre
rotation, and brake checks.
Diagnose vehicle issues using specialized diagnostic equipment, identifying root
causes and necessary repairs.
Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or
electrical systems.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles are compliant with standards.
Offer professional advice on vehicle maintenance and provide exceptional
customer service.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and safe work environment,
adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
A recognised qualification in automotive repair or engineering (NVQ Level 3, IMI/
City & Guilds) and MOT Tester certification
-4 years relevant experience (Essential)
-DVLA driving licence (Category B entitlement) (Essential)
-DVLA licence with C1 & D1 / C or C+E driving categories (Desirable)
-DVSA Nominated Tester (optional, but preferable)
-HGV repair and maintenance experience (Desirable)
-ATA accredited to diagnostic technician level or equivalent (Desirable)
Strong understanding of automotive technology and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Preferred:
Manufacturer certifications.
Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles.
