Nurse Manager- Behavioral Health Accommodation Paid

Must-Haves:

Current Iowa Registered Nurse License.
Current BLS certification.
Preferred: Two to three years of prior management experience with a minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Job Description:

Actively participate in QIE/QM projects to meet regulatory compliance.
Follow infection control policies and hospital procedures consistently.
Serve as an example to staff by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Participate actively in developing and achieving hospital regulatory compliance.
Follow unit-specific policies and procedures.
Facilitate scheduling and adjust schedules to meet hospital needs.
Provide fair and consistent leadership to all departments.
Communicate safety and risk concerns to the department director and quality department.
Complete variance reports or statements of concern promptly.
Ensure patient care complies with established criteria.
Notify staff of emergency call-in situations.
Operate within established hospital procedures during emergencies.
Notify the Administrator on call of any areas you feel unable to handle following hospital policies or in the event of unusual events.
Act as an ambassador for the health center by speaking positively in the presence of patients and community members.

Education and Experience:

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 0-3 years of management experience.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Preferred: Two to three years of previous management experience with a minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Certifications:

Current Iowa Registered Nurse License.
Current BLS certification.
Current NR within 6 months of hire.
