Job description:

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
• Conduct assessments to identify areas where IT solutions can add value.
• Develop IT strategies aligned with the client’s business objectives.
• Provide recommendations on technology adoption and integration to improve overall efficiency.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Design and recommend solutions, considering scalability, security, and future needs.
• Oversee the implementation of IT solutions, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth deployment.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to enhance cybersecurity.
• Implement security measures to protect against potential threats and breaches.
• Advise clients on adopting cloud technologies for increased scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the migration of applications and data to cloud platforms.
• IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Provide training sessions for clients and internal teams on new technologies or systems.
• Create comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions and processes.
• Offer ongoing support for IT systems and promptly address technical issues.
• Implement strategies for proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Evaluate and select third-party vendors for IT products and services.
• Manage relationships with vendors and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in technology and IT best practices.
• Recommend innovative solutions to enhance clients’ competitiveness.
• Ensure that IT solutions comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in IT operations.
• Conduct regular reviews of IT infrastructure and services for optimization.

Skills, qualifications, and experience needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system architecture.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary: £26,500 – £30,000 per annum (depends on the experience)
