Job Title: Sr. PHP Developer (Magento and WordPress)

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with expertise in Magento 2.x and WordPress CMS to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Magento and WordPress-based websites, ensuring their optimal performance and functionality. You will work closely with designers, other developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Magento and WordPress websites, implementing new features and functionality as required.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable PHP code following best practices and coding standards.
Customise Magento and WordPress themes, templates, modules, and plugins to meet project requirements.
Integrate third-party APIs and web services, including RESTful APIs, for seamless data exchange.
Optimise website performance by writing efficient SQL queries and implementing caching mechanisms.
Collaborate with designers to implement responsive front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Ensure websites are SEO-friendly by implementing best practices and optimization techniques.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth website operation.
Manage version control using Git to track changes and collaborate with team members effectively.
Deploy websites to different hosting environments, configure web servers, and manage deployment processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Magento and WordPress.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Magento 2.x and WordPress CMS.
Proficiency in PHP programming language and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
In-depth knowledge of Magento and WordPress architecture, themes, templates, modules, and plugins.
Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with web services, including RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of web server configurations, hosting environments, and deployment processes.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and effective collaboration with designers and other developers.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques is a plus.
