Level 3 Nursery Practitioners (2x) Immediate Start

We are looking for two level 3 practitioners to work with our children aged 2-5 years old, our nursery is based in North-West London.

Job Role: 

• Planning and providing a caring and stimulating environment for the children.

• Observing and assessing children’s development and keeping accurate records.

• Working as part of a team.

• Encouraging learning and development, through play and teaching.

• Creating a secure environment, using imagination to help children to learn.

• Working with parents to support their children.

• Enabling children to build their literacy, language and numeracy skills.

• Monitoring progress and planning educational games.

• Putting together activities which will keep the children engaged throughout the day.

• Helping children get ready for the transition into a classroom environment.

• Helping children to become more independent when carrying out daily tasks.

• Creating the right balance between activities and down time.

The successful candidate would have the following:

• Level 3 qualification or above in Childcare or equivalent.

• Experience in planning age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development based on observation.

• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

• Understanding of the issues surrounding the safeguarding of children and commitment to child welfare and safety.
