Jobseekers Account general information
When you register to Hunterr.io your details, including your CV, can be made available for searching, viewing over the Internet and downloading by any direct employer, recruiter or other person or organisation who requests CVs matching your profile to be sent to them. Hunterr.io attempts to verify the identity and the nature of the business of such organisations however does not make any warranties as to their authenticity.
What personal information do we collect
When you register with us as a jobseeker we will process your personal data on the basis set out in this policy, as it is in our legitimate interests to do so upon your registration. Personal information collected from you, such as;
your name, contact information, area of work you are looking for in terms of industry sector, location where you want to work or willing to relocate to and your CV and cover letter. Your personal data will be used to manage your account and to email you about our services which includes job alerts and targeted job mailers. We may contact you regarding any website changes or changes to the Hunterr.io products or services that you use.
Disclosure of your personal information
Upon registration, we store some information about you when you create an account, but this is password protected and may only be accessed by you. This is private and you are not automatically part of our candidate database and cannot be searched or accessed by Hunterr.io customers. Your CV will be accessible to any Hunterr.io customers unless you choose the option to ‘hide’ your CV. If you choose to hide your CV this will mean that all clients of Hunterr.io will not be able to view or access it. Your Hunterr.io account can be deleted at any time.
Should you choose to register and upload a CV to our database, we rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. We would advise that you do this at least every 6 months or so.
Jobseekers should not include information on their CV which is considered sensitive personal data. For example your religious beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, biometric data, your health, sex life or sexual orientation.
Hunterr.io reserves the right to remove from our database CVs which include any content that we consider to be false, illegal or offensive.
Please note that some of our customers may be located in countries outside the European Economic Area. You should also be aware that potentially your current employer may be and active client of Hunterr.io As a result of this they may have access to your CV or profile if you have chosen the option not to hide your CV. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any eventuality as a result of this.
Information collection and use of personal data
An IP address, or ‘internet protocol address’, is a unique identifying number given to every device connected to the internet. Like a car license plate, an IP address is a special serial number used for identification.
We routinely capture your IP address information to determine your general location which is anonymous in nature.
Capturing your IP address information helps us work out whether you are visiting the site from within the UK, EU or rest of the world. This means we can show you tailored content that’s specific to your location to improve our services.
Cookies

If you choose to join register on Hunterr.io, you will receive email communications from us. You may receive these in the form ‘Job Alerts’ and other ‘Updates’ from us or our clients.
Job Alerts and mailshots are tailored notifications of the latest jobs available on the Hunterr.io site which match your search criteria.
These could be in the format of daily jobs alerts, company mailshots/alerts and instant job alerts.
You can change, delete or amend these at any time by visiting “your account” section

Stop receiving our Emails
You may unsubscribe from any employment or promotional information email that we may send to you at any time.
This can normally be done by using the unsubscribe function at the bottom of the emails, or you can log in to your account and updating your settings or finally by contacting us our contact form.
Deleting your account
You can remove the information Hunterr.io stores about you simply by logging in to your account and choosing to delete your account. Alternatively, you can email us using our contact form.
