How to work remote at home as a Turkish Speaker
The Turkish language is one of the oldest in the world and with over 80 million people across the world speaking it, Turkey’s emerging textile and manufacturing economy, there is clearly a growing demand for companies who wish to hire Turkish speakers. A lot of companies are already attracting top candidates and have started recruitment drives for 2020 and 2021. The surprising thing is that the majority of roles advertised are actually working from home or remote style jobs.
There are two options when searching for remote work if you are fluent or a native speaker. You either become a part time or full time employee or you will freelance self employed. In this post I will explain which companies are currently hiring (and always will be) Turkish speakers and how to get started freelancing for remote work.
SEGA (Europe)
Most known for the computer games made in the 90s, SEGA are still going strong today. For the part 6 years they have been developing games which a huge demand for Turkish speakers as Turkey is one of the fastest growing gaming communities in the world.
Sitel
One of the biggest out sourcer, who have hit the headlines in the UK for their part in the track and trace program. However a massive employer in the bilingual job space with over 17,000 bilingual employees in Europe.
Teleperformance
Similar to Sitel, they are an outsourcing giant known for their work with call centres. Teleperformance also have open positions for Turkish speakers all across the UK and Europe.
With remote work opening up and staffing issues with bilingual staff always in short supply it is a great time to begin looking for work as a Turkish and English speaker.
